Searching for peace is an intricate pursuit, involving the burning desire and active participation of entire communities. How can we encourage the leadership in youth needed to work for peace in their own lifetimes and empower them to be the change their communities may desperately seek?
Bringing this week to a close, we have two new developments for Peace Pandemic.
First, Father Hesburgh has graciously written us an endorsement letter, expressing his belief in our mission to promote peace and encourage social justice in youth around the world. We are incredibly grateful for his support.
Second, Professor John Darby, a professor of comparative ethnic studies at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at Notre Dame has agreed to be on Peace Pandemic's advisory board. He is an amazing inspiration to the encouragement of peace through conflict resolution and has been a tremendous resource to us. We look forward to our continued work with him.
Peace! Hannah
