Hello! We are pleased to present Peace Pandemic Corp., an up and coming non-profit that plans to
empower youth through peaceful action. We will be teaching leadership and nonviolence through sports, providing soccer camps to youth ages 8-18 in the United States as well in international sites. Each camp held in the United States will fund one of our international camps held in an area affected by conflict, human rights controversy, and/or economic hardship. Campers will be able to connect with one another through shared letters, pictures, and video that will be taken from each of the camps.
Our first two international camps will be held in Tanzania and Israel in the coming summer of 2011.
Our four tenets encompassed in each week long soccer camp include:
- Development of soccer skills/knowledge
- Development of leadership skills
- Education on nonviolence and peaceful conflict resolution
- Inspiring the leaders and peacemakers of tomorrow through sport
Peace Pandemic looks to give people all across the world the empowerment and inspiration to “ be the change they wish to see in the world.”
