Finding inspiration in India

"All I've seen is passion - a passion for life and a passion for football" - Jeb
A great video interview from CNN-IBN with Jeb and Caitlin:

"Hold onto your dreams, keep that passion"

A video from Jeb and Caitlin:

On a personal level, watching that last video has inspired me beyond belief. Seeing the looks of joy and happiness on the faces of those kids leaves me speechless.
Jeb wrote to me in an email describing just how amazing these people are and how they value and appreciate the smallest things.

This video and the efforts from Jeb and Caitlin here bring me nearly to tears - Jeb told me that if he and Caitlin could have an impact on one person, if they can get their message across to just one - then they have accomplished something.

I fully agree with them - but at this point, I think they've reached more than one.

Peace is all about Inspiration

They say pictures are worth a thousand words... So here are a few from out here in India that we would like to share! Peace is about Inspiring ACTION instead of speculative teaching.

This is how Football should be played!

A medium for peace

Hi everyone!
I received an email from Jeb today with updates!

Although he couldn't possibly sum up his experience thus far with an email, he did mention the words crazy, amazing, fascinating, rewarding, inspiring, and phenomenal.

One of the pitches Jeb played on in East Delhi.

"The stories and the people are incredible - they leave me speechless each and every day."

Here are just a few highlights so far from his trip, Jeb will soon be writing up a post!

Jeb's wonderful girlfriend Caitlin Phelan has been speaking to the boys and girls at the end of each soccer session regarding health and disease. She's also taken on the role of photographer!

Bend it like Brovsky

Jeb is in India!!!
Stay tuned for pictures and updates very soon!

For now, check out these great articles about his trip:

"Rukka girls to bend it like Brovsky"

An article about the work Jeb and Peace Pandemic will be doing with young girls from the Rukka village in India.

"Football gives them confidence and a safe social environment"

In Rukka Jeb will be working with Yuwa, a "social outfit" used to challenge gender inequality. Yuwa works concurrently with the goals of Peace Pandemic to use team sport as a powerful outlet to promote health education and improved livelihoods amongst young women.

"If it moves kick it; if it doesn't, kick it till it moves."
